WOU Enrolment

Since its inception in 2007 until now, Wawasan Open University (WOU) has over 4,000 students who have experienced education through open distance learning mode. We are committed to support learners who seek or need a flexible, accessible and affordable alternative to pursue tertiary education in a non-traditional campus-based education. We constantly strive to provide accessible and convenient learning support systems and services. Our new custom-designed online re-enrolment system (WOU Enrolment) is part of that commitment. This WOU Enrolment will be a useful tool to assist students to complete the re-enrolment process for the coming semester without the hassle of going over to their local Regional Office. Now at the click of the button whether at the comfort of their homes or workplace, they can instantly choose and re-enrol for the desired courses as long as they have a credit card registered for online payment. All information provided will be encrypted and protected. WOU kicked off its WOU Enrolment on May 25th in a test launch involving a small sample size of students registered through the Johor Bahru regional office. The university subsequently extended the WOU Enrolment to all Johor Bahru regional office students under a pilot project commencing June 8th. As part of a roll out plan, this service is to be offered to Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh regional offices students beginning June 15th. The final phase of implementation will be the extension of WOU Enrolment service to Penang and Kota Bharu regional offices students starting from June 20th. Students are advised to seize this opportunity and re-enrol for courses through WOU Enrolment for the forthcoming July semester as the process is simple, fast and easy. Examination Notification Slips for Supplementary Exams on 6th & 7th Sept 2008

Examination notification slips (with exam timetable) have been posted on 22nd August 2008 to all students who have registered for the supplementary examinations. Please contact your Regional Office if you have not received the copy of the exam notification slip. Extension of Early Bird Incentives (EBI) deadline for Advanced Standing (AS) recipients

The EBI deadline is extended to 19 June 2010 (for KB RO) and 20 June 2010 (for other ROs) for AS recipients (non-precedent cases) who will receive the AS results in June (after the exam period) and thereafter wish to add any course(s).

Advanced Standing application period (for non-precedent cases) - 30/3/10 to 18/7/2010

The course grade results for Headstart Programme - January 2009 have been released via the student portal on 10th June 2009 @ 4.30 p.m.

Postgraduate and Undergraduate Courses - January 2009 semester examination grades released

Jan 2009 semester examination grades for postgraduate and undergraduate courses have been released at 6.00 pm via the student portal on 16 July 2009. Please note that GPA/CGPA/total credits will be updated on 31 July 2009.

Online Examination Notification & Result Notification Slip (Effective July 2009 Semester)
Students are required to print their own examination notification slips. Students are also reminded to bring the Examination Notification Slip during the Examinations. The Examination Notification Slip will be made available to students by week 17 of the semester (13th November 2009 @ 5pm onwards) at the student portal. Students are required to print their own result notification slip after the results are released on the student portal and announcement made. Please note that no hardcopies of the slips will be posted to students.
