Graphic Design, Animation & Web Design workshop
Synopsis:
This short course
focuses on the creation of graphical elements into animation and
Internet screen-based interactivity. It includes certain basic
elements of interactive design in relation to the design of pages
for the Internet.
Therefore, topics on multimedia
authoring for Internet and website design are emphasised.
Objective:
Learning Outcome:
On completion of the
unit, students will be able to:

Elaborate on the
elements of interactive design (theory and
practice).

Identify and analyse
other forms of interactive design from
the Internet.

Demonstrate an
ability in handling a task chronologically and
systematically to achieve objectives in interactive multimedia
design for the Internet.

Up-to-date
technology available.

Apply design
knowledge learned to produce brochures,
posters, web design & desktop publishing

Training Methodology: Lecture, tutorial, practical, assignment
Assessment: Graphic 25%, Animation 35%, Web 40%

Trainer's Biodata
Ambrose Solomon, a graduate from Bharathiar University, India,
has been in the animation and creative multimedia industry for more
than 12 years. He is currently the Director of Jai Ho Animation Sdn.
Bhd., a venture company which concentrates on animation content
development.
Ambrose is also the founder of
Catapult Animation Studios and the Chief Technology Officer at
Motion Caption Studios.
BlogFest Asia 2010
BlogFest
Asia is a festival for bloggers in Asia.
There will
tentatively be a half-day conference on Saturday, followed by
workshops and group discussions on both days.
Everyone is
welcome to join the festival and meet the expected hundreds of
bloggers from other countries.
The event will allow participants to learn about blogger/blogging
activities and interact with key bloggers in Asia.
